500W Medium Powered Fiber Delivered Direct Diode Lasers

Medium-powered fiber-delivered direct diode lasers find their primary application in heat conduction welding, especially when working with thin materials. In heat conduction welding, the laser is used to melt the sheets along the intended joint. The melted material from both sides of the joint merges together and then cools to form the final welding seam. This process resembles spot welding but offers the advantage of allowing the laser beam to move after the molten pool is generated.

Laser heat conduction welding offers several benefits, including faster welding and reduced material distortion compared to conventional welding methods. Furthermore, it results in smooth and pore-free welding seams, eliminating the need for post-processing or additional finishing work.
